Katrina Matthews added a 4th place in the IM70.3 World Championship St. George to her tally in what had been an already impressive 2021 season. The BMC athlete charged her way through the field on the bike to battle for the podium on the run. A outstanding performance which resulted in a 4:10:46 finishing time. Lucy Charles-Barclay (GBR; 4:00:20) broke the tape to claim the World Championship title with Jeanni Metzler (RSA; 4:08:39) and Taylor Knibb (USA; 4:08:50) next to her on the podium.
read more...Kristian Hogenhaug is the new World Triathlon Long Distance World Champion. The Danish athlete put together an excellent all-round performance in Almere to break the tape in a mind-blowing time of 7:37:46. BMC Team mate Pablo Dapena Gonzales had a fantastic race as well and took 6th place. Jesper Svensson (SWE; 7:39:25) finished 2nd, with Reinaldo Colucci (BRA; 7:45:15) rounding out the podium.
read more...An incredible day of racing for the BMC Pro Triathlon Team. Patrik Nilsson put together an exceptional performance in Frankfurt to crown himself the new Ironman European Champion. Nilsson overtook team mate Kristian Hogenhaug in the closing stages of the marathon to run to the biggest victory in his career in a finishing time of 7:59:21. BMC team mate Hogenhaug who had been dominating the bike leg, put up a fantastic fight to hang on for second (DEN; 8:00:18). David McNamee (GBR; 8:02:29) completed the podium.
read more...Katrina Matthews took home the victory in dominating fashion at Ironman UK. An excellent swim, bike and run combination on a demanding course saw her brake the tape in a time of 9:40:01. Her compatriots Nikki Bartlett (GBR; 10:02:43) and Chantal Cummings (GBR; 10:10:33) joined the BMC athlete on the podium.
read more...After two 2nd places and a 4th place finish in previous races, Pablo Dapena Gonzales put together another excellent performance to take home 3rd place in Challenge Gdansk. The BMC athlete raced in front of the race all day long after a more than solid swim, bike and run performance to finish in a time 3:49:21. James Teagle (GBR; 3:46:14) won the race in front of Matt Trautman (RSA; 3:48:18). With yet another podium finish Gonzalez takes over the lead in the Challenge Family World Ranking.
read more...Max Neumann put together an astonishing performance to take the repeat win at Ironman Cairns and to crown himself Asia-Pacific Champion for the second year in a row. Racing from the front all day long in impressive fashion, the BMC triathlete finished in a spectacular winning time of 7:58:55. Fellow countryman Tim Van Berkel claimed second in 8:06:39 with Josh Amberger finishing third (8:10:12).
read more...Katrina Matthews took home an incredible 2nd place at the Ironman North American Championship in Tulsa. Even a 5 minute penalty, couldn’t stop Matthews claiming the silver. Katrina posted a unbelievable 2:49:49 marathon, the 3rd fastest female marathon of all time in Ironman history. The BMC Pro athlete crossed the finish line in a time of 8:45:35. Daniella Ryf (SUI; 8:40:34) won the race with Sky Moench (USA; 8:47:45) finishing in third position.

Eventually, Pablo Dapena crossed the line in a time of 3:53:54. Thomas Steger (GER; 3:52:34) won the race, with Sebastien Kienle (GER; 3:55:19) snatching the final podium spot.

The Spaniard raced all day long in the front of the race to snatch 2nd place after a hard charge in the final kilometers of the run.
