read more...Corinne Abraham, member of the Uplace-BMC Pro Triathlon Team, finished 3rd in IM 70.3 Austin. Due to injury and a bacterial infection, Corinne couldn’t race for 6 months, whereby she had to miss out on this year IM World Championships. With only a short period of of full training in the bag, Corinne is clearly on the way up again after a difficult couple of months.

read more...The beautiful Canary Island of Lanzarote was the scenery for today’s Club La Santa Ironman 70.3. It became a tight battle for the podium, with the top 3 all within 2 minutes. The race was won by Eneko Llanos (ESP: 04:06:26), followed by Romain Guillaume of the Uplace-BMC Pro Triathlon Team, 16" further (FRA: 04:06:42) and Antony Costes finishing 3rd, 1'16"back (FRA: 04:07:44). This brings the season total for the Uplace-BMC Pro Triathlon Team to 12 wins and 29 podium finishes.

European Champion, Jan Frodeno (GER: 3:51:19), was outstanding in Austria today. Sebastian Kienle (GER: 3:52:48) came second with the fastest bike split, while former World Champion Javier Gomez (ESP: 3:55:05) finished 3rd. In a sprint finish for 4th place, Bart Aernouts (BEL: 3:56:28) edged out Michael Raelert (GER).
read more...Like last year, Sofie Goos (BEL) of the Uplace-BMC Pro Triathlon Team came second today in the KMD Ironman Copenhagen. The Danish Michelle Vesterby (DEN: 8:59:49) led from start to finish in her capital. Sofie Goos came close to Vesterby during the run, but Vesterby managed to hold on and won with a sub 9 hour finish. Sofie Goos (BEL: 9:03:07) followed on 3:18 of Vesterby, while Sonja Tajsich (GER: 9:08:43) came third on 8:53. This brings our 2015 total already to 12 wins and 27 podium finishes for the Uplace-BMC Pro Triathlon Team.
read more...Today, Liz Blatchford (AUS) of the Uplace-BMC Pro Triathlon Team came 2nd in the Subaru Ironman Mont Tremblant. Mary Beth Ellis (USA) led from start to finish to win in a time of 9:09:05. The three times Ironman Cairns winner, Liz Blatchford, followed on only 50” (9:09:55), while Lisa Roberts (USA: 9:13:45) came 3rd. This brings our 2015 total already to 12 wins and 26 podium finishes for the Uplace-BMC Pro Triathlon Team.

read more...It became an exciting and historical day for the Uplace-BMC Pro Triathlon team with the announcement of the continuation of a real triathlon legacy this morning in Paris with the announcement of the new team title sponsor. Bart Aernouts (BEL: 3:49:35) of the Uplace-BMC Pro Triathlon Team also won the inaugural Enea Challenge Poznan (half distance) in Poland ahead of James Cunnama (SAF: 3:52:11) and Markus Hörmann (GER: 3:54:46) who moved up from the 5th place to the 3rd place in the last kilometer. The Uplace-BMC Pro Triathlon Team’s 2015 victory tally now stands at 12 wins and 24 podium places.
